Apple Salted Caramel Latte Smoothie has fall written all over it.  Apples are the quintessential fall fruit, and for good reason.  They are super tasty.  Full of fiber.  And, have numerous health benefits.  Apples are great brain food.  They help reduce the likelihood of dementia and neurological damage.

Apples also cut the chances of breast cancer.  They also assist in lowering bad cholesterol.  You get lots of vitamin C and B-complex vitamins, including riboflavin, thiamin, and vitamin B-6.  If the over abundance of health benefits of this smoothie don’t have you convinced the fantastic flavor will.

I used Santa Cruz Organic Cinnamon Applesauce.  This gave the smoothie a sweet cinnamon taste, plus it keeps the prep time short.  I love this smoothie, it taste so good and gives me so much pep in my step.  And, since it has eight grams of fiber and 18 grams of protein, it keeps me full so I can get a bunch of stuff done on my to do list without running out of energy or getting hungry too soon.  Did I mention the energy this smoothie gives me is crazy?
