These are great as a snack, a side item or even as the main protein source for lunch or dinner. I have made these countless times, and each time they are a hit. My preschooler loves them, my hubby loves them and I love them. I usually make two batches, because they get eaten up so fast and I love the leftovers.
One of the reasons I love them so much, is that they are super easy to make. They are so easy to make in fact, that my preschooler often helps make them. It’s great to have him help in the kitchen for some much loved bonding time and as a great helper too.
These patties are super healthy, way more healthy than hot wings. And, I personally think they taste better too. Next time you need a unique complementary or main item to ‘spice’ up your snack or meal, try making my Spicy Chickpea Patties.
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until combined, but can be a bit chunky. Take large spoonfuls and form into patties. Put on a place and refrigerate them for at least 2 hours. Heat oil in a medium pan and cook the patties about 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Don’t overcook them or they will turn out dry. Serve with vegan ranch, bbq sauce or guacamole. Makes seven patties. Enjoy!
