The other day I made my hubby some delicious cinnamon streusel muffins, which are not gluten free. Since, I can’t eat gluten anymore, I decided to create a smoothie that captured those yummy flavors of a cinnamon streusel muffin. Thus, creating my Cinnamon Streusel Smoothie.
It’s a thicker smoothie, because of the oats, which makes it a hearty smoothie too. That makes this smoothie great for a meal replacement or for after a workout. You could also make this smoothie for a very filling breakfast, or even as a dessert. And, since it’s low in calories but high in fiber and protein, it’s a fantastic and healthy choice.
I love making smoothies with the high quality protein I get from Shaklee. Because, it taste super delicious even all on its own. Then, when you add in additional ingredients, it blends perfectly with them. I have tried many, many protein powders and have yet to find one I like as much as Shaklee’s. So, next time you are in the mood for a moist cinnamon muffin, try making my Cinnamon Streusel Smoothie with Shaklee’s protein powder.
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Makes one serving. Enjoy!
