This smoothie is quite thick, and very filling!  I love pumpkin bread, but can’t have it in a traditional way anymore, since I’m not eating gluten or dairy anymore.  So, I figured out a way to be able to enjoy the delicious taste of this bread in a non-gluten or non-dairy way, as a smoothie.

This smoothie has ten grams of fiber, which is why it is so filling.  Another great thing about this smoothie is that it clocks under 300 calories, so it won’t fill you out, just fill you up.  That is a great thing, especially around this time of year with Thanksgiving just around the corner.

On that day, it’s hard to not overeat, especially on not so healthy foods.  But, if you start the day with my Pumpkin Bread Smoothie, you will be taking a great first step of the day!  And, since this smoothie has pumpkin in it, you get a serving of vegetables in your breakfast, lunch or snack.  Which, we all could use more vegetables in our diets.  So, go ahead and whip up this smoothie today and see how deliciously filling it is!
