Green-Pink Rory
I love the picture that I used for this painting. I actually painted the picture upside down. Rory, the dog, was on her back with her legs up in the air. The angle of the camera to her position was fantastic and created an awesome composition. This is the third painting in the series of four Rory paintings. With this series I chose to use vibrant non-traditional colors, so that the viewer would look at the emotion of Rory in a new and different way. The pink, green and yellow colors of this particular piece are a great match for the fun and playful side that Rory shows in the picture. But, of course, the viewer can see whatever they want, that is my goal. See and feel whatever it is your heart and mind need to at that moment.
The first piece in the series is the Blue-Green Rory, the second piece is my Purple Rory, my forth piece is my Multi Colored Rory.
These paintings are small, but make a big impact with their unique colors and poses of Rory. They are great individually, but truly feel complete when together.
