My Peppermint Mocha Chocolate Chip Smoothie is the perfect pick me up and fill me up!  It also crushes any chocolate or sweet cravings that might be tapping you on the shoulder this time of year.

One of the best things about my Peppermint Mocha Chocolate Chip Smoothie is that it is under 300 calories.  It’s rich and decadent, while being super healthy with over 7 grams of fiber and 17 grams of protein from the high quality Shaklee Life protein powder.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops or ½ cup Chocolate Shaklee Life Energizing Shake mix (or for vegan option use Cocoa Energizing Soy Protein)
  • 1 cup coconut milk (or almond, cow, cashew, rice, soy or flax milk)
  • ½ cup cold brewed coffee or chilled coffee
  • 1 - 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (I used Enjoy Life to make these dairy free, and are a vegan option)
  • ¼ tsp mint or peppermint extract
  • 4-5 ice cubes

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  Makes one serving.  Enjoy!
