This smoothie is delicious. It gives me lots of energy and fills me up. The first time I made it, I only used half a cup of the chilled coffee, and the coffee taste wasn’t that strong. So, if you aren’t a fan of strong coffee stick with that measurement. However, if you like a stronger coffee taste then go for the ¾ cup chilled coffee. I like it both ways.
This smoothie is sweet, but not overly sweet. I has a fantastic chocolate and raspberry flavor. It would be delicious with dark chocolate chips in it too! Raspberries are a super healthy food! The list of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory phytonutrients in raspberries is astronomical! It’s not even the number of different antioxidant and anti-inflammatory phytonutrients that make raspberries so healthy. It’s the amount of each of these antioxidant and anti-inflammatory phytonutrients that make raspberries such a power house to our health.
There are specific compounds in raspberries that help increase the metabolism in our bodies fat cells, helping us lose weight. All the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory phytonutrients in raspberries fight against cancer too! With all these health benefits, and just so you know raspberries have even more than what I’ve listed, makes this Raspberry Mocha Smoothie super healthy. Plus, it’s super yummy too!
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Makes one serving. Enjoy!
