What can I say, other than it’s fall so there is pumpkin this and pumpkin that everywhere.  I loved how my Pumpkin Cheesecake Smoothie turned out.  And, thought why not make a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Latte Smoothie.  This will be just as tasty with the added bonus of a burst of energy from the coffee.

Even though this smoothie has lots of flavor from all the scrumptious ingredients, I was able to keep the calories and fat down.  Not that calories or fat are a bad thing.  They both give energy to the body and keep the organs running smoothly.  Which is great.  

Especially now that the weather is getting colder, we really need our bodies working properly to stay healthy.  So, fuel your body with a tasty and healthy treat and try my Pumpkin Cream Cheese Latte Smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops or 1/2 cup Vanilla Shaklee Life Energizing Shake mix 

    (or for vegan option use Vanilla Energizing Soy Protein)

  • ⅓ cup pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup coconut milk (cow, almond, flax, cashew, rice or soy)
  • ½ cup cold brewed or chilled coffee
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese 

    (or for a vegan and dairy free option use vegan cream cheese, like Daiya)

  • 1 sheet gluten free graham cracker

  • 1 tbsp stevia
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 4-5 ice cubes

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  Makes one serving.  Enjoy!
