Fav Rory
This is my favorite Rory painting to date. It truly captures the essence of Rory. In this painting her eyes are so expressive, which is how Rory really is. She has so much character. Of course, since this is a portrait, it is in my off the wall color palette. To keep my bright portraits from being too sharp and uninviting. I blend a lot on the edges of my subjects, to give them a very soft type glow. This is very time consuming, but completely worth it in my opinion. One of the cool things about this painting is that it is almost the same size as Rory is in real life. It’s like having my very own Rory. I will never give this painting away as long as I live, I just love it too much.
