Pumpkin is “thee” flavor or fall, for most people. I personally love it. Because, it has lots of health benefits, it’s a vegetable, yet can taste like a dessert when you add it to the proper ingredients. Like in my Pumpkin Pecan Smoothie.
I decided to try making this smoothie after having made my Caramel Filled Pecan Pie Bites last fall, which turned out delicious. They truly are the consistency and taste of pumpkin pie with pecans and a gooey filling.
My delicious Pumpkin Pecan Smoothie really tastes like fall in a tall glass. It is refreshing and hearty to fill you up and keep up your energy to rake leaves and jump in the pile, and make a mess and then do it all over again. When you are craving a pumpkin flavored treat, but want something that is healthy and unique, try my Pumpkin Pecan Smoothie.
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Makes one serving. Enjoy!
