I woke up one morning and had the strangest craving for peanut brittle, which I’m not usually a fan of.  For one, it’s super sticky and gets caught in my teeth.  And, two it’s mostly sugar, which is not good for my glucose levels or waistline.  So, like always I figured out a healthy way to indulge in my craving.

A Peanut Brittle Smoothie, of course.  I must say, it was way better than the real thing.  At least in my opinion.  Because, it didn’t get stuck in my teeth and it was low in sugar and carbs.  Plus, the smoothie version has lots of protein and fiber, filling me up so that way I wasn’t hungry in 5 seconds.  Which is what happens after a you eats peanut brittle.

My Peanut Brittle Smoothie filled me up and kept me full for hours.  And, it satisfied my craving for peanut brittle all while giving me energy that lasted.  Unlike peanut brittle, which would just cause me to crash in 30 minutes or less.  So, if you feel like having a treat that tastes like peanut brittle that is actually healthy for you, try my Peanut Brittle Smoothie!
