I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They bring me back to my childhood of a simple and fun life. It’s nice to be brought back to those times. One of the best tasting ways to do that, is with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Although, sometimes I don’t want a whole sandwich, just a quick and tasty snack.
So, I came up with my PB ‘n’ Jelly Protein Bites. They are delicious and taste like a peanut butter and jelly in a cute round bite. They are really fast to make, not to mention really easy to make too. So easy infact that I have my three year old do most of the work. He doesn’t mind in the least. But, his favorite part is eating them once they are ready. Good thing it only takes about 5 minutes to make these.
When, you are in the mood to reminisce about a great past time through the most popular children’s sandwich, try making these PB ‘n’ Jelly Protein Bites. They will fill you up and give you energy to play, if you really want to be taken back.
If the peanut butter is really firm, then heat up on stovetop or in microwave for 30 seconds to soften. Once the peanut butter is soft enough to stir easily, combine it with the oats and jelly. Then add in the protein powder and stir to fully combined. Take spoonfuls and roll into about 2 inch balls. Makes about twelve bites. Enjoy!
