Sweet Strawberry Lemonade Smoothie

I love lemonade, and I really love strawberry lemonade.  It’s just so refreshing.  On a hot summer day nothing quenches your thirst as well as a tall, ice cold glass of lemonade or strawberry lemonade.

All though it’s not a filling drink.  At least not until you add Shaklee's high quality protein, high fiber protein powder and make it into a smoothie.  Then, you have a filling snack to tide you over for hours and hours.

A nice perk to this smoothie is that it’s low in calories, under 275 per serving.  Plus, it has lots of fiber, over ten grams and over seventeen grams of protein too.  Those two combined really make this a great summer drink.  Try it for yourself.

Directions

Squeeze the juice from the lemon(s) in a small glass, to catch any seeds that might come out.  If any seeds come out, just take a spoon and scoop them out.  You don’t want to fish lemon seeds out of a blender, it’s not fun.  And you don't want to accidentally eat one, because they are bitter.  Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.  Makes one serving.  Enjoy!
