I made this delicious recipe after my sister made a comment on how delicious my Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Smoothie is “super good”, but she’s not a fan of raisins. I know that a lot of people like raisins, but there are a lot of people that don’t. I had suggested to her that she subsitute dark chocolate chips in place of the raisins. I tried it myself and am so glad I did!
It tastes like a chocolate chip cookie in smoothie form. I could hardly believe that it is under 345 calories. It was filling as all the smoothies I make are, because they have so much fiber from the high quality protein powder I use. I don’t do gluten, I don’t do dairy anymore either, I don’t do fake sweeteners, I don’t do chemicals. So, I’m really glad that I have found such a great protein powder that falls within those guidelines of mine.
Shaklee also has a protein that doesn’t contain any of the above mentioned things and there is a soy free option, but still has lots of high quality protein and fiber! They do make a soy protein powder, which is delicious on it’s own. But, I like to add things to my smoothies to make them even more fantastic, like my Chocolate Chip Cookie Smoothie!
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Makes one serving. Ejoy!
